Trek-Segafredo annuncia piani per il 2020 per i migliori ciclisti

World Champion Mads Pedersen (Trek-Segafredo) will start his 2020 season at the first WorldTour race of the year, the Tour Down Under, which will be his third appearance at the Australian race. Pedersen will use the early season racing as preparation for the cobbled classics in the rainbow jersey. Pedersen, who will celebrate his 24th birthday next week, is due to make his Tour de France debut next June.

The Portuguese stage race will mark the first time that Nibali races alongside new teammate Bauke Mollema. The recent Lombardia winner will also be making his season racing debut in Portugal.
Richie Porte will be starting 2020 in his usual fashion by racing his home race, the Tour Down Under, where he will be aiming to add another win to his tally at Willunga Hill.

Mercoledì, Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig ha mostrato il suo nuovo Futuroscope FDJ Nouvelle-Aquitaine sui social media. Il tuttofare danese si è unito alla sua nuova squadra in un campo di addestramento in Spagna.
Il Futuroscope di Nouvelle-Aquitaine dell’FDJ salterà allo status di WorldTeam nel 2020.
L’UCI ha annunciato altre sei squadre che formeranno il nuovo livello del ciclismo professionistico femminile il prossimo anno, tra cui Canyon-SRAM, Alé BTC Ljubljana, CCC-Liv, Movistar Team Women, Team Sunweb e Trek-Segafredo. Assente dalla lista delle squadre di alto livello c’era Mitchelton-Scott. La licenza del team è in attesa di approvazione dopo un’ulteriore valutazione da parte dell’UCI.
L’FDJ avrà un grande impatto dopo aver firmato il versatile Uttrup Ludwig, che è un contendente sia nella Spring Classics che nelle gare a tappe estive come il Giro Rosa.
Uttrup Ludwig si unisce al team dopo aver trascorso le ultime tre stagioni con Bigla Pro Cycling.
Ha una serie di risultati impressionanti nel suo nome nel 2019, tra cui una vittoria al GP de Plumelec-Morbihan Dames. Ha anche ottenuto posizioni sul podio al Trofeo Binda, al Giro delle Fiandre e a La Course di Le Tour de France.
